Miles apart: Power lines 96% complete

Connecticut Light & Power Co. said Wednesday it finished running the overhead lines on the $1 billion Middletown-to-Norwalk transmission line. That means the new 69-mile, $1.05 billion project is 96 percent complete, said Frank Poirot, a CL&P spokesman.
